Clare Vets is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive, and growing team! If you’re looking for a role where you can build strong client relationships, develop your surgical skills, and work within a fantastic team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll have the best of both worlds spending around two-thirds of your time in consultations, really getting to know your clients and their pets, while dedicating the remaining time to surgery and case work ups. As a busy hospital, we see a wide range of procedures, from routine neutering and dentals to more advanced soft tissue surgeries, BOAS procedures, TECA, and minor orthopaedics. While the majority of surgeries are completed on-site, we have excellent referral options for more complex orthopaedic and specialist cases. We also know how important continuity of care is, so wherever possible, you’ll have the opportunity to follow your cases through and build lasting relationships with clients.
We actively encourage professional development and would love to support you in growing your own areas of interest within the practice, complementing our skilled vets and nurses.
Full time working 40 hours a week however part time would be considered for the right candidate. One set night on call each week, alternating with first on duty one week and standby the following with time of in lieu for weekends and on call. We are happy to over this in more detail at interview.

Parklands Drumahoe (Northwest) Experienced Mixed Vets
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to be part of developing and shaping our new Surgery in Drumahoe. This will be a mixed position and we are looking for two vets to become part of both the wider small animal and farm animal teams within Parklands.
Our small animal is based over 5 sites with a high medicine and soft tissue and orthopaedic case load availability. Our farm team ranges from consultancy, herd health and fertility management. You would be working in a dynamic structured team towards 1st and 2nd opinion caseload with a firm career progression within a family environment. We have excellent facilities including US scanner, endoscopy, digital x-ray and in house laboratory, support and CPD to help you achieve your goals. Come and join our team of over 40 vets.
The Role
The salary offered is £40-£55k pro rata + Vet Reward Scheme, depending on experience & if leadership roles are taken on. Certificates and CPD strongly encouraged and supported. Applicants must be RCVS registered.

Based in Dungannon, you will be part of a 13vet team over 5 sites with a high medicine, soft tissue, orthopaedic and ECC case load availability. You would be working in a dynamic structured team towards 1st and 2nd opinion caseload with a structured career progression within a family environment. We have excellent facilities including US scanner, endoscopy, digital x-ray and in house laboratory and lots of support and CPD to help you achieve your goals. We are developing a cert lead 1st and 2nd opinion regional centre for client/patient focused veterinary care.
The Role
